Sensei Shannon Le Brun


Shannon Le Brun is a student of the E.P. SYSTEM SELF DEFENSE CLUB; he is also, Co- Head Instructor at the E.P. SYSTEM SELF DEFENSE CLUB Sacred Heart and he spear heads the newly found E.P. SYSTEM SELF DEFENSE CLUB Program, designed to teach at risk youth the beginning stages of Karate focusing most on the spiritual principles found in Martial Arts.

Sensei Le Brun started Karate at age 12. He earned his Black Belt rank on June 13th 1999 from Grand Master Michael “Bouncy “ Bailey, his childhood and current teacher. Shannon credits all of his accomplishments to the self-discipline he was taught by, the E.P.SYSTEM SELF DEFENSE CLUB, and the United States Marine Corps.

Sensei Le Brun earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Long Island University in 2006 and went on to earn his Master Degree in Social Work in 2007 from Hunter College. He is entrepreneur based in Brooklyn. He is a stronger believer in self-discipline, sacrifice and hard work, all of which he teaches at his Dojo with his childhood friend, Yahyah Sadididy, who joined the E.P. SYSTEM on the same day he did back in 1983.
